For some things there are no shortcuts,no easy remedies when life throws you a curve ball and brings you to your knees.Sometimes it seems you can't win however hard you try when your faith is sorely tested and all you do is cry.It does no good to gripe, complain, when you're not up to par because true friends will understand and love us as we are.We sometimes need a helping hand before we see the light, and just knowing prayers are answered will help us through the night. We're not alone in time like these unless we choose to be,for God won't leave us comfortless in times of tragedy. There are angels all around us to catch us when we fall, and through His tender mercies we can rise above it all.Clay Harrison(Author)
Wendy, I just found this beautiful site you have created for Kevin. I am so sorry for this loss in your life. What a wonderful man Kevin has been for both you and your daughter. I know he is with you still today. Having grown up in the Milwaukee area, I feel a connection with you. Kevin's love for Harleys, the Brewer's and a good cold beer bring back memories of those good old days. It has been 26 years since I lived there, but Milwaukee will always be in my soul. All of my family still lives there.
You have done such a wonderful job of sharing what an amazing man Kevin was here on earth and continues to be in Heaven. What a precious love he has for you and your daughter. That kind of love does not end. It is eternal.
Again, I am so sorry for all the pain you have experienced, but I do know this: God's intention is to right all wrongs and reunite us with those we love in Heaven. Hold onto that. He will see you and Sarah through this. Kevin is able to enjoy life to the full in Heaven, and he will be there to greet you one day. Embrace those moments when Kevin touches your life even today. It is as though God allows us to "connect" now and then to give us hope and courage to go on. Whether it is through a dream or some special experience, Kevin wants you to know he is nearby and so does God. May you find an extra measure of comfort and peace today.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Kevin sounds like a incredible man. From all the wonderful things he did, you have comfort in knowing just how much he loved both of you. May it make your sorrow,Easier for you to bear,Knowing that there are others,That understand and care. Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for lighting a candle for my son, Ryan.
